This place is obviously one of the coolest place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I visit this place I am remarkably glad. They keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of meals they provide. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Did the full breakfast buffet. Generally good though the pancakes were to dry and they added the 18% service charge even though it was just two people in my party. I let it stand because it's less than I usually tip, but fair warning.

What a very nice place to go for a special occasion. The short rib was amazingly tender and delicious as well as all the fare. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend.

Scotch lounge. Forget the main dining room if you book for a party of about twelve. Scotch lounge is the way to go. Superb setting. Sitting bench behind the row of chairs around the table. So people can spontaneously mingle in sub groups. Very cozy. And food was great.

You won't be disappointed. I suggest having a small meal before the meal. Great menu options for everyone. First time going and won't be my last.

My family and I went for Sunday brunch. We asked specifically for a table by the window, but for some reason, the host wouldn't seat us there but didn't say it was reserved or anything. The brunch menu is a little expensive, but that's to be expected from a hotel restaurant, I guess. We got the truffled eggs, crab cake Benedict, lobster roll Benedict, and smoked salmon Benedict. Everything was very good, but the service was a little slow.

Very nice. I went Friday after work around 5pm. We were attended very quick. The waiter was amazing very kind. We didn’t feel pressure at all. There were many seats at that time too. The food was amazing and big amount. We got a Travelzoo deal for 2. The price cap from the coupon was very generous; it basically includes most of the items on the menu. The food was very tasty. My fav was the grilled octopus. Again the waiter was very nice. I liked very much the decor of this restaurant. I like the decor on the interior, makes you feel at easy. I will definitely recommend.

The best hot chocolate lava cake I ever had! of course my main course was absolutely delicious, the pan seared scallops with mash potatoes, but I would definitely recommend the chocolate cake for dessert.

Incredible dinner last week, and one of the best meals I've ever had. Between the 5 of us we tried the burrata salad, crab cakes and clam chowder (pictured) for appetizers, and the scallops (pictured), steak frites and duck for mains. Everything was fantastic, including the fresh bread for the table and the French 76 cocktail (pictured). For dessert we had the Boston creme pie (pictured) which was delicious, but the creme brulee's custard and pavlova's meringue were both runny. Definitely a good splurge meal inside a beautiful restaurant/hotel.

Everything was fantastic, including the service. Not only great food, but decent portions as well. A truly 5 star experience and convenient on site valet parking at a reasonable cost.

Celebrated my 25th birthday with a group of 15 for brunch here! Reservation was simple and service was great. Table was ready super early and we were able to be seated early as well. Our waiter was very attentive and just an overall nice individual. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great time. Thank you!

Last minute reservation for a 3 course prix fixe on Chriatmas day! Food, cocktails, and wine pairing were incredible and the fact that we could get us in at all will make it an extremely memorable experience for us. Service coule not have been better. Thank you all for having us and working on Christmas!

A solid 4 for brunch on Sunday morning. Service is good. Show up early for free parking outside even on Sunday mornings. Otherwise, you can pay the $12 public garage (not the $25 one). Food wise, the lobster Benedict is the way to go! That was a favorite dish on our table. Nice views outside and relaxed atmosphere.

The clam and lobster chowder was excellent. The crab cake was a bit dry, needed more sauce. The hickima slaw that accompanied the crab cake was great. I also had the Creme brulee and coffee. I had asked for decaf but was served regular. It was so good I drank the whole half pot and was unable to sleep. What a waste of such a beautiful hotel room at the Intercontinental....

Decent enough French Provencal restaurant in the Intercontinental Hotel, with spectacular views out over Boston Harbor. It is quite convenient for working breakfast or lunch meetings, and the gentle acoustics guarantee conversation is easy. Everyone raves about their duck, which is just fine, but their real showstopper is the cioppino - a rich, slightly spicy tomato broth absolutely loaded with fresh seafood including a half lobster. Service is smooth and professional, and the wine list has good options at a range of price points.

Amazing location, perfect for a romantic date. The food is delicious, fresh and tasteful, without mentioning the portions, awesome, not small at all. The service is brilliant.

We came to Miel for Sunday brunch. It is located in the back of the Intercontinental hotel. They have great views of the Fort Point Channel especially sitting outside. I was sitting inside and could not see the water, so that was disappointing. The decor is also nice. We tried three of their benedicts. They were all great, but my hash brown was too salty. The crab cakes were excellent, and the eggs were cooked well. All of our dishes took a long time to arrive. They had to keep sending people to say that the dishes were coming out soon (but that wasn't true). Service was slow and poor for the price of the dishes and meal.

Tasty soup and good venue for a lunch conversation. Great views of the seaport district add ambience and charm. Prompt, friendly service to the standards of the Intercontinental as well.

Questions & Answers

No enforced dress code from my understanding, but people are typically dressed up a bit since it's a classier/fancier restaurant (as is the hotel)
